Kasi proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 2008 to 2013 as an Aviation Structural Mechanic, an experience that solidified her commitment to serving those who have served. While stationed in central California she rescued and fostered bully breeds resulting in her adopting, and bringing home to Missouri, the first dog that saved her life. As a former participant in the program, Kasi understands the challenges many veterans face and the profound impact a service dog can have on healing and independence. She is currently working on her degree in Social Work and is passionate about advocating for veterans, educating others about service dogs, and helping build a strong, supportive community where no veteran has to face their journey alone.
